About
Greetings!
I’m Jake, founder of Oak Arbor care established in 2017.
My daughter encouraged me to create this company. When I inspect trees, I keep children in the yard and animals in mind. I treat my approach as I would expect my property to be held for safety reasons. If we have any guarantee, It is this. We will treat your property as if animals and children are constantly running around. Ideally, as we do, provide constant support. A visit every 2-3 years would be ideal in our world, and affirming we have done everything we can in your tree canopies to sustain your tree structure for a prolonged period of time.
We take the “hippie” approach on this topic, keeping it simple and organic.
We highly value our quality of care when approaching our clients and their concerns. We look at trees like a life source, a product that is invaluable in which we need as many as we can have. Most established trees, failing due to disease, we can step in to intervene and save. Often we meet customers reporting poor experiences with other companies, recommending removals when trees can be saved. At oak arbor care, we have one primary goal. How can we save the most amount of trees in the most organic fashion.
Here is Our Approach:
Say your tree is struggling with a mineral deficiency, a yellow tinge in the color of the foliage, per say Maples, or Oak trees. Some of the most common species around here in Longmont, Boulder, Berthoud, Loveland, Fort Collins, and Greeley that tend to have the hardest times.
Changing the soil chemistry existing in the soil is crucial in our high plains desert environment, we have managed over the years to discover a natural way to encourage living mycorrhizae which creates bio availability of nutrients to our root system. As opposed to salt based nutrients that can often be too strong or need to be constantly applied. With this treatment to the soil, we are able to introduce a natural collection of living microbes to break down what would normally be locked up minerals to be released into the soil. With this practice, and annual treatments we can change your soil chemistry over a three year period of time. Inoculating the soil over time will eliminate continual treatments for viable nutrients to your trees, bushes, and garden space.
Most importantly we strictly follow ISA standards in pruning, safety and removals.
Always following OSHA guidelines to ensure we can ensure all our lives are valued past the work day to continually provide emotional and physical presence with our families. In the end, saving trees, co existing with trees for our personal safety, and safety to our homes and property is the utmost value in our eyes. We strive to have to chance to further our impact
our community in the best way possible to ensure our environment is healthy for everyone involved. Truly, we hate seeing trees fall through homes. We do offer 24/7 emergency services 365 days of the year. However! We should avoid those costly midnight calls and potential damages.
Our on site visits are free and always accompanied by an ISA certified arborist to assure we are analyzing your situation accurately with up to date continued education courses, to keep us up to snuff with current research and application.
